They are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their team and support the smooth operation of their production facilities.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical and electronic equipment within the production environment. This role specializes in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on modern automated systems while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality electrical and electronic maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot and repair production and processing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues with modern automated systems safely.
• Assist in installation work as needed.
• Conduct minor mechanical repairs to reduce downtime.
• Support other divisions within the Maintenance department as required.
• Adapt to new and evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively under deadline and breakdown pressures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic automated equipment down to the component level on circuit boards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions and keep management informed.
• Professional demeanor with a courteous and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently with the confidence of management.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Industrial maintenance experience, preferably 5+ years.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer-based principles in automated processes.
• Familiarity with PLC operations and programming is highly desired.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electronic components, electrical distribution devices, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Experience with VFD setup and operation, substation operation, and scale functionality.
• Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
