Job summary

Together, we embrace the challenge to push our mission forward - becoming more than the sum of our parts.**The Electro/Mechanical Technician** **position will have the following responsibilities:** * Assemble parts into sub-assemblies, units, or systems for heavy duty and high voltage Integrated Power Node Centers (IPNCs) electronic product.* Troubleshoot and rework assembled units that fail standard tests* Use drawings, final assembly blueprints, and/or verbal and written instructions* Performing test and/or inspection of heavy duty and high voltage Integrated Power Node Centers (IPNCs) electronic product.* Knowledge & Experience of working with electro-mechanical LRU’s containing PCB/modules.* Perform tests by setting up and utilizing test equipment and software such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, frequency generators, multi-meters, and other testing equipment.* Complete and maintain all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner.* Assist engineering personnel in the troubleshooting, modification, and/or repair of non-conforming units.* Additional duties to include, but not limited to calibration, in-line inspection, and final inspection of units/assemblies.* Perform maintenance on all test production equipment and fixtures, including soldering ability.* Troubleshoot equipment and process issues that arise and create positive solutions.* Give support and resolve issues with test equipment supplied by the transition group.* Adherence to company policies including general workmanship, FOD control, and documentation* Provide cover during operational working hours (may include early swing and night shifts and/or fixed hours) and working overtime as required by the business.* Compliance with production processes and procedures, production schedules and recording standards using business IT systems (i.e., ERP/MRP/MES).**We are looking for a candidate with the following experience/qualifications:**Minimum educational and work experience requirements for the successful candidate will include the following:* Associate degree in electronics field or equivalent military training required.* Minimum 2 years of experience working in an electro-mechanical or electronic test environment.* Must be able to read blueprints, troubleshoot from schematics, and assist in writing test procedures.* Must be proficient in the use of test, inspection, and calibration equipment.* Demonstrated hands on manufacturing / shop floor experience.* MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)* Proven ability to initiate and execute change into mature processes.* Mechanically inclined and understands production fabrication and assembly.* Deep firsthand knowledge of manufacturing operations, the ability to provide real time shop support with solid troubleshooting skills leading to consistent production and quality.* Soldering (J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 preferred)* Wiring and wiring harness* Heavy duty and high voltage Integrated Power Node Centers (IPNCs) electronic product.Candidates shall be required to successfully conduct testing procedures and physical dexterity assessment during interview.**Our Benefits:*** Comprehensive medical insurance* Competitive PTO* Company 401K plan with up to 4% matched contribution* Annual bonus program (varies by level and discretionary based on company and individual performance)* Flexible working arrangements* Paid volunteering opportunities* Access to mental health champions across our sites* Commitment to development* Employee referral program#LI-Onsite**Compensation Pay Range***Please click here to review Ontic's .**Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
