Ontic is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our Creedmoor, NC operations. You will read engineering drawings, assemble electro-mechanical units, and perform testing with calibrated equipment.
The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with engineering to improve processes. Required are an Associate degree or military electronics training, or 2+ years in a related environment, plus proficiency with ERP/MRP/MES systems and MS Office.

Our team is looking for an Assembly Technician to join our Operations team. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work an onsite schedule in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

To be considered for the Assembly Technician role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military training, or a minimum of two years of experience in an electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation
Experience using electronic test, inspection, and calibration equipment
Hands-on manufacturing and shop floor experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production fabrication and assembly processes
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing, assembly, or process-related issues
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
Experience working with ERP, MRP, or MES systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production environment
Proven ability to support continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
