Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. in Creedmoor, NC seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Manufacturing production team onsite.

You will plan, coordinate, and guide manufacturing of electrical components for new or existing products, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality teams. The role requires at least four years in manufacturing with AC/DC motors, circuit boards, and assemblies, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and PLC/LabVIEW/Altium

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of manufacturing experience with AC/DC motors, actuators, circuit boards, electronic assemblies and accessories.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear technical reports.
• Proficiency with PLC programming, LabVIEW, and Altium.
• Familiarity with materials, processes, NDT and aerospace component specs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex drawings and specifications to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, and test protocols.
• Develop prototype/pilot manufacturing builds to test designs.
• Collaborate with engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality for new products and manufacturing improvements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing testing systems and documentation.
• Provide training on assembly methods, test procedures, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical assemblies and resolve manufacturability or quality issues.

You will report to the **Engineering Manager** and will have an **onsite** work schedule in **Creedmoor, NC.****Position Purpose:**The Electrical Engineering position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and guiding the manufacturing of electrical components for new or existing products. The focus in this position is to coordinate with other departments and outside suppliers, to ensure that functional requirements of new and existing electromechanical products.
