Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is hiring an Engineering Technician II for a global leader in semiconductor and display equipment manufacturing in East Austin, TX. The role offers weekly pay and an hourly rate of $22.00-$26.50 with multiple shift options to fit your schedule.

You will perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems, mentor junior technicians, and produce technical reports in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with an AS degree or similar in Electronics Technology (or equivalent military technical experience), or a BSEET degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, troubleshooting systems, and software including MS Office, Oracle Manufacturing, and PDM.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems using schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Conduct soldering, diagnostics, fault isolation, and system testing activities.
• Prepare technical reports and support cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues.
• Assist and mentor junior technicians with advanced tasks and troubleshooting.
