Job summary

Raise is seeking an Engineering Technician in Austin, TX. This contract position requires performing complex electro-mechanical functions, including testing and troubleshooting of electronics. Candidates must hold an Associate degree in a technical field and have relevant hands-on experience.

You will work on semiconductor manufacturing platforms, applying analytical methods within strict quality and safety guidelines. The position offers various shift options, with shift differentials based on the hours worked.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of hands-on technical experience for Level I.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience for Level II.
• Ability to use standard operating procedures or scientific methods.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic testing according to specifications.
• Apply strong understanding of AC/DC circuits for power distribution.
• Support system installations and field upgrades.
• Generate Quality Notifications and maintain precise records.
• Observe safety standards in a production environment.

Skills

Reading complex blueprints and technical schematics

Experience using hand tools

Proficiency with multimeters
