Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Engineering Technician in Austin, TX to support electro-mechanical design, testing, and fabrication of electronics and systems. The role covers prototype model building, testing, and troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical design, testing, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly.
• Proficiency reading schematics, diagrams, layouts, and plans for testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical design, testing, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics.
• Build prototype models and test equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot system and component level electronics and mechanicals.
• Support new system installations, NPIs, and field upgrades.
• Refer to schematics and layouts for troubleshooting and testing.
• Maintain logbooks and document test results with clear writing.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing per docs.
• May perform rework and generate quality notifications.
