Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Raleigh, NC seeks an Electro-mechanical Quality Control Test Technician III for 1st shift to perform live testing on MV gas-insulated gear, cabling, transformers, PV inverters, and related low voltage control circuits. Shift 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM; hourly rate $33.00.

You will conduct end-of-line testing, inspect workmanship to quality docs, and coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure correct builds and durable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with electrically testing and troubleshooting power distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with inspection and electrical test tools (Megger, hi-pot, multi-meters, ratio testers, torque wrenches, tape measures).
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical control circuits.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-line electrical testing and commissioning duties.
• Inspect products to quality standards per internal documentation.
• Review electrical specs/drawings to ensure correct production builds.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection, test, and quality reports.
• Collaborate with production and engineering during inspection process.
