Job summary

Siemens in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Quality Test Technician for the 2nd shift to support mechanical testing of switchgear, panels and breakers. You will inspect, test, and troubleshoot to meet UL/IEEE standards and ISO quality requirements.

The role involves preparing finished units for shipping, training with ISO standards, and interacting with multiple departments. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training provided.
• Speak, read, write and comprehend English; read blueprints/drawings.
• Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/inspection tools.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards and applicable codes are met via inspections, design reviews, testing operations and troubleshooting.
• Deliver mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, etc.).
• Test and inspect mechanical aspects of Switchboards, Panelboards and Breakers to applicable standards.
• Prepare finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling).
• Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies and maintain related records/reports.
• Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA.
• Interact with various departments and customers on a regular basis.
