Job summary

Siemens Mobility is hiring a Quality Test Technician at our Fort Worth, TX site to ensure quality standards in manufacturing of low‑voltage power distribution products. This 1st shift role focuses on mechanical testing and inspections of switchgear, switchboards and breakers.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, support mechanical testing, prepare units for shipping, and maintain records while following ISO quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training provided.
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend English; able to read blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Basic computer skills and use of mechanical/measuring/inspection tools.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards and codes via inspections, design reviews, mechanical testing, and troubleshooting.
• Provide mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards).
• Test and inspect mechanical aspects of switchboards, panelboards, and breakers to applicable standards (UL, IEEE).
• Prepare finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling).
• Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies and maintain related records/reports.
• Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA.
• Perform other work as advised by supervision.
• Interact with departments and customers routinely.
