Encoder Products Company in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee order fulfillment, plan daily manufacturing, and lead a team that builds electro‑mechanical encoders. You will ensure adequate staffing, parts, and equipment to meet the day’s production plan and maintain high quality.

Qualifications

• 2-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 3+ years related supervisory experience and/or training preferred.
• Prior experience as production assembler or lead preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
• Prior shipping supervision experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, and execute daily manufacturing operations for order fulfillment.
• Ensure products conform to specifications and quality requirements.
• Support a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety policies.
• Monitor production levels and key performance metrics.
• Utilize the company’s ERP system to plan, assign, and monitor work based on production requirements and labor needs.
• Provide strong, collaborative leadership to production employees through consistent expectations, effective coaching, and employee development.
• Interview, hire, provide coaching, and conduct performance appraisals or corrections to employees, as necessary.
• Train or assist in training new employees and engage in career growth conversations with employees.
• Analyze, initiate, and/or suggest plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals, resolve work problems, or assist employees in resolving work problems.
• Interpret and enforce company policies with employees.
• Maintain employee attendance records.
• Recommend and supervise the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and strategic initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
• Report and collaborate with cross functional teams on needs for setup and adjustments of machines, tooling, or equipment.
• Confer with other supervisors and/or managers to coordinate activities between corporate teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Backfill as an assembler and Line Lead as needed.
• Other production supervisory duties as needed.
