A well-known producer of consumer goods in Chester is looking for two Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Techs for 2nd and 3rd shifts. I hope you're doing well! A well-known producer of consumer goods in West Chester, PA is seeking two Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Techs to join their team. We have a Maintenance Tech II on 3rd shift (10 pm - 630 am), and a Maintenance Tech III on 2nd shift (2 pm - 1030 pm).
The facility has 160 production employees total, and 7 Maintenance professionals on each shift. There are 23 production lines in total. A number of the production lines feature old-school mechanical systems, and many feature newer PLC systems. In this role, you will be working to proactively and reactively repair processing and packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.
These are direct hire roles with full benefits, great pay rates, and bonus potential. Pay is $35/hr + 7% shift differential and a 5% annual bonus.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze condition, troubleshoot failures, perform equipment repairs using standard procedures.
• Perform problem solving and resolution of machine issues or reliability improvements.
• Maintain machine standards of operation in accordance with baseline hardware and software installation / measurements / equipment standard setup manual.
• Execute corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure a high level of machine utilization (OEE) and low scrap level.
• Perform the equipment setup and change-over process.
• Assist with continuous improvement of equipment / process safety, operation, and efficiency.
• Support new system installations, R&D and engineering projects.
• Train and mentor Technician I and Operators on team and across teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Maintenance shop.
• Ensure the health and safety of personnel and care of the property, equipment, and product under their control.
• Assist with Technician III duties when required.
• Partner with other technicians on shift and cross shifts to continually complete objectives.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
