Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of machine maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Ability to read or interpret blueprints and data.
• Troubleshoot electronics and related controls.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain crimping machines and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts using appropriate tools.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on drives, motors, belts, and fluids.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals, diagrams, and catalogs.
• Repair equipment using hand and power tools, welding, or cutting.
• Setup and align new equipment and crimp tools after maintenance.
• Record maintenance types and costs; estimate repair expenses.
• Order parts and coordinate with vendors for replacements.
• Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949 policies and procedures.
