Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks an experienced maintenance technician for the 2nd shift (3pm-1am, Monday-Friday and alternating Saturdays) at our Dallas facility. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment, perform detailed setup for recipe changes, and maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with CMMS, reading blueprints, and training staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-10 years maintenance in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to adhere to safety policies and quality goals.
• Willing to standby, off-hours and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components to keep equipment in top condition.
• Understand electrical principles, such as voltage, current and resistance.
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, field devices and sensors.
• Repair PLC input/output and related control issues.
• Enter completed work in the CMMS and monitor spare parts usage.
• Train technicians in complex tasks and safety procedures.
