Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations in Dallas, TX. The role involves repairing equipment, performing detailed setups, and conducting preventive maintenance while following safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, familiarity with Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and proficiency in Word and Excel. The position may require off-hours standby and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.
• Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues.
