Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support highly automated meat processing equipment in Reading, PA. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement preventive measures to maximize uptime.

The role offers permanent, onsite work with 1st and 2nd shifts, emphasizing safety, OSHA/HACCP/GMP/SQF compliance, and reliable production performance. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

5+ years in electromechanical or industrial maintenance.
Experience with 120–480V electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot PLCs without programming.
Read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Apply lockout/tagout and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety priority per OSHA/HACCP/GMP/SQF and food safety regulations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (120V–480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot PLCs and automation signals (no programming required).
Read blueprints and schematics to identify issues and plan repairs.
