Schwan's Company in Pasadena, TX is hiring for a full-time maintenance technician to lead preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems and production machinery. The role involves major equipment repairs, fabrication, and installation projects to ensure continuous plant operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of related experience, advanced mechanical knowledge, and CNC programming/welding skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 2-year degree in a maintenance trade preferred.
5+ years of related experience in maintenance.
Advanced mechanical knowledge and electrical/building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery.
Execute major equipment repairs, fabrication, construction, and installation projects, including welding to food-safe standards.
Diagnose mechanical issues via inspection and precision tools; interpret schematics.
Fabricate and maintain plant components using lathes, shears, benders, and welding equipment.
Provide training to production teams on maintenance best practices to reduce downtime and ensure safety.
Support compliance with safety and operational protocols.
