Job summary

Neapco in Beatrice, Nebraska seeks an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Associate to install, maintain and repair machines, tools, and utilities in a safe, reliable operation. The role reports to the Facilities Manager and supports a wide range of manufacturing processes at our Components location.

Qualifications

• Requires fork truck safety certification.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively.
• Experience with copper, PVC & pipe installation.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Knowledge of 120/480 volt systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Experience with PLCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes all mechanical and electrical assignments safely and in a timely manner w/o close supervision.
• Completes all required documentation neatly, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assists PM Technicians as required.
• Repairs or reports any and all unsafe conditions identified throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Participates in all required training.
• Follows all maintenance and safety procedures.
• Rotate tasks within the work group as required.
• Work extra hours (overtime) as required to support production demand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
