Job summary

Pro Services partners with manufacturing and processing facilities to provide maintenance roles for both early‑career technicians and seasoned experts. The position focuses on keeping operations running by maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems in an industrial setting.

The role offers day and night shift opportunities with overtime as needed. A background in recycling centers or polymer processing is a plus, and safety policies are strictly followed.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in industrial maintenance or a comparable hands-on trade (5+ years preferred for senior-level roles).
  • Practical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Electrical know‑how to work safely around industrial systems; ability to read electrical schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and optimize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on motors, pumps, conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders.
  • Troubleshoot electromechanical issues independently as your experience allows; escalate and collaborate when needed.
  • Read electrical schematics and blueprints; PLC troubleshooting (Allen‑Bradley) is a plus.
  • Document work thoroughly: work orders, field service reports, and daily logs.
  • Assist with or lead new equipment installations; coordinate maintenance windows with vendors.
  • Execute preventive maintenance to schedule and standard.
  • Communicate findings with supervisors and operators to prevent repeat failures.

Step Into a Day on the FloorYou lace up your boots, check in with operators, and walk the line. A baler needs a photo-eye cleaned and calibrated, a grinder is due for a PM, and a conveyor gearmotor is running hot. You lock out, dive into root-cause, and get it turning smoothly again. Before lunch, you’re reading a schematic to trace a 480V control issue; later, you log notes, close work orders, and stage parts for a weekend install.
