Job Overview

Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) – Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Hourly rate with shift differential as per 2026 rates.

Summary

Assist in the day-to-day facility upkeep, including manufacturing/distribution equipment repair and preventative maintenance to keep the facility and equipment in top condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day facility upkeep and manufacturing/distribution equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, HVAC and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Suggest cost-saving upgrades and changes to improve equipment performance.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of SOPs and the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional team members regarding maintenance projects and requests.
• Maintain and repair office furniture and equipment.
• Assist with general facility maintenance (snow removal, sidewalk maintenance, lighting replacement).
• Complete maintenance work orders by requested due dates.
• Source and order parts and supplies when needed.
• Perform all other maintenance related duties and preventative maintenance not described above on an as-needed basis.
• Occasional overtime and on-call work may be required.
