Job summary

NCR Voyix Field Services in Rockford, IL is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a defined territory. You will be the first line of response, using training provided to resolve issues, communicate clearly with customers, and ensure reliable operation.

Overtime, rotating shifts, and a company vehicle are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and some hardware/OS familiarity.
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
• Rotating and weekend shifts.
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
