Job summary

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and CAD experience; on-site work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• CAD package experience or certificate is beneficial.
• Maintain safe work area and follow Wieland safety procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams/Outlook).
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Lead project meetings with deliverables, timelines and estimates (PowerPoint).
• Implement project specifications, requisitions and documentation.
• Timely troubleshooting, recording and cost-saving implementations.
• Ensure equipment safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual and detailed design of parts or equipment.
• Obtain necessary parts to complete projects and manage stock.
• Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting as requested.
• Create and maintain CAD drawings and spare parts lists.
• Participate in project implementation and startup/troubleshooting.
• Pursue continuous improvement for safety, quality, efficiency or cost savings.
• Assist others on assigned projects.
