Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks an experienced engineer to contribute to high‑voltage substation and FACTS projects. You will design electro‑mechanical systems, coordinate across disciplines, and produce layouts, grounding, and 3D models.

Involvement spans tender through commissioning in a global team. The role requires a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering with 5+ years’ HV experience, Revit/BIM proficiency, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• 5+ years in HV substations or FACTS projects.
• Proficient with NEC/IEEE standards and Revit BIM.

Responsibilities

• Develop base and detailed electro-mechanical designs for FACTS and HV substations.
• Coordinate mechanical activities across projects and disciplines.
• Prepare station layouts, grounding, and lightning plans.
• Review 3D plant models and BIM data.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations.
