Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for an on-site role in Bridgeton, MO. The position focuses on building and testing electro‑mechanical assemblies, following detailed schematics, SOPs and safety rules.

You will support engineers, perform prototype work and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and technical skills with tools like Access, Excel and LabVIEW.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience handling small delicate components with ESD procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in restricted spaces.

Responsibilities

• Build electro‑mechanical cable connectors and assemblies per blueprints.
• Work independently on sub-assemblies or with team members on vehicle integrations.
• Test, modify, rework and repair assemblies to meet specs.
• Design and test prototype productions and ensure quality control.
• Interpret SOPs, safety rules, and engineering drawings accurately.
• Provide guidance to other technicians and assist in training new staff.
