Job summary

SOC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in the St. Louis, MO area for a 5+ month contract-to-hire engagement. The role involves electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and rework, with collaboration across engineering and production teams.

The candidate should have an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, 2+ years of relevant work, and solid proficiency with ESD practices and tooling such as Access, Excel, LabVIEW, and MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical equivalent required.
• 2+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read complex wiring/assembly drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework.
• Provide technical support to engineers on components, devices, materials, processes, and equipment.
• Test, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies.
• Design and test prototype assemblies and production units.
• Work from complex drawings and specs and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety rules.
• Maintain quality under minimal supervision and assist training of new team members.
