Job summary

Innomotics in New Kensington, PA, seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician I (Assembly) to build drives and sub-assemblies from schematics, using hand and power tools in a team setting. Reporting to Production Supervisor, you’ll ensure quality and safety in daily tasks.

The role requires basic math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior assembly or production experience is preferred; associate degree in electrical fields is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient use of basic hand and power tools required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring schematics and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Wire and assemble drives, sub-assemblies and components per drawings and BOMs.
• Position products using overhead crane and material handling devices.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety policies (5S).
• Follow ISO workmanship procedures and assist QA to meet expectations.
