Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. seeks an assembler to perform wiring and electromechanical assembly for panels and cabinets. You will solder, route wiring, use hand and specialty tools, and adhere to drawings and manufacturing instructions to meet quality standards.

The role is on second shift (2:30pm–1:00am, Mon–Thu with some Saturdays, 4/10 holiday schedule) in Richardson, TX, with safety and quality as top priorities. Benefits include comprehensive plans, 401(k), and ESPP opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related wiring assembly experience.
• Experience with electromechanical panel wiring, cabinet wiring, PLCs onto panel enclosures, wire routing.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions and processes to assemble cables to manufacturing and industry specifications.
• Use and operate ERP system for retrieving work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks to meet high quality expectations.
• Solder, assemble, route and secure wiring/cables into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets.
• Work with hand tools and specialty tools as required.
• Perform rework resulting from drawing change notices.
• Cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and reliability of work performed.
