Job summary

Richardson Electronics, Ltd. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler II to join our LaFox, IL team. You will perform production assembly, testing of electro-mechanical units, and ensure adherence to work instructions while working independently.

The role requires ability to read schematics, perform electrical testing, soldering, and packaging of assemblies. Lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining accurate records are essential responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years relevant electronics experience or demonstrated equivalent ability
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Good organizational and record keeping skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics, blueprints and work instructions to build quality electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Perform electrical testing and data acquisition and document results.
• Perform quality checks on components and completed assemblies.
• Soldering and wire/cable assembly.
• Package completed assemblies for shipment.
• Assist in daily cycle counting of material.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work center.
