Job summary

HID Global in Austin, TX seeks an Assembler II to assemble, test, and complete ID card printer systems in a production environment. You will follow detailed work instructions, read specifications, and contribute to quality and throughput.

You will perform electro-mechanical assembly, wiring of frames, harnesses, motors, print mechanisms, and conduct basic testing while documenting results. You will collaborate with quality, engineering, and materials teams to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, specs, blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ID card printers and subassemblies following BOMs and travelers.
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting to validate product performance.
• Record build data and quality checks; escalate issues for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and materials to meet daily targets.
