HID Global Secure Issuance in Austin, TX is seeking an Assembler III to assemble ID card printers and subassemblies in a production environment. You will validate CTQ features, inspect conformance to specs, and perform functional testing to ensure product quality and throughput.
The role requires following detailed work instructions, BOMs, and travelers, with a focus on defect prevention and process improvement. 3–5 years of related experience is preferred.
Responsible for assembling, testing, and completing ID card printer systems and subassemblies in a production environment. This role requires strong emphasis on Product Quality, defect detection and compliance to specifications, as well as, attention to detail, the ability to follow standardized work instructions, and a focus on quality and throughput. The Assembler III serves as a subject matter expert for product quality and assembly processes, performing advanced validation, auditing, and troubleshooting while supporting defect prevention and continuous improvement efforts.
