Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an Assembler 2 to join the Sensor Department and assemble and test units. You will work with electronics, electro-mechanical and mechanical components to build sub-assemblies to spec.

You will follow wiring schemes, install components, hand-solder and harness cables, and perform set-ups while maintaining blueprint tolerances. There may be testing tasks and quality checks as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of job-related work experience.
• Experience with Windows-based computers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test units in the Sensor Department.
• Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assemblies.
• Make set-ups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
