Job summary

MKS Instruments in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Assembler 2 to join the Sensor Department. You will assemble and test units and perform hands-on electronics and mechanical assembly tasks.

You will follow wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing to blueprint specifications, make set-ups and adjustments within tolerance, and may test equipment and products as needed. This is a cleanroom manufacturing role with strict quality expectations.

• Performing a wide variety of electronic, Electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products
