Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial Inc. in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Assembler to assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances, and ensure quality.

You will use hand and power tools, solder, and inspect for defects while following safety protocols. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in electronics/electro-mechanical assembly (defense/aerospace a plus), and the ability to read drawings and obtain a DoD

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical electronics training preferred.
• 2+ years in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly, defense/aerospace preferred.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 (certification a plus).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, wiring, and hardware into sub-assemblies and final products per drawings and instructions.
• Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and mechanical assembly tasks with appropriate tools.
• Inspect for accuracy and quality, report nonconformances, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues.
