Met Weld International, located in Altamont, NY, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The role requires soldering and assembly experience, with the ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. The position offers a standard day shift or a second shift with a 10% differential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Soldering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand production drawings, assembly instructions, work orders and sample assemblies.
• Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit parts to secure them.
• Mount assembled components on chassis panels or printed wiring boards.
• Connect wires and build cables/wiring harnesses per diagrams.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks and online inspection to meet specs.
