Qualifications

• High School education required; Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls desirable.
• 2+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, and reading schematics/diagrams.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panels.

Responsibilities

• Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies per customer requirements.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material.
• Drill or tap holes to mount control units or provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.
• Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Complete point-to-point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.
