Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking an Assembler 1 in Andover, MA to join the Sensor Department. In this contract role, you will assemble and test units and report to the supervisor. The position is onsite with potential to convert to a permanent role.

You will perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations, follow blueprints, set up and adjust to tolerances, and support testing of equipment and products in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of job-related work experience.
• Able to work second or third shifts.
• Experience with Windows based computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and follow methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.

This is a contract position with the Davis Companies, working onsite at MKS Inc in Andover MA and could convert to a permanent role.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products

Hourly Pay Rate: $18/hr plus shift differential. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
