Northrop Grumman is seeking an Assembler 3 to join Amherst Systems in Buffalo, NY. You will assemble complex electronic components and perform precision soldering, following drawings and job aids to satisfy customer specs.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 4 years of assembly/electronic experience or an associate degree in an electronic/technical discipline.
• Experience soldering at a Class 2 level.
• Ability to follow written directions and drawings.
• Willingness to travel and work second shift if needed.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Assemble electronic components per drawings and job aids to meet customer requirements.
• Perform multi-step assembly including fine-pitch soldering, BGA rework, and microelectronics assembly.
• Ensure workmanship and conformance to build documentation; perform rework as needed.
• Record production data in travelers and shop floor systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and collaborate with engineers to improve processes.
