Job summary

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will repair, fabricate, and modify electrical and mechanical assemblies per engineering docs, working onsite in San Diego on a 12-month contract, 2nd shift on a 9/80 schedule.

Responsibilities include reading instructions, hand-soldering per standards, documenting data, assembling components, inspecting quality, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace, with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs and depot support.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of production hand-soldering experience.
• Experience with electromechanical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Execute production hand-soldering tasks to standards.
• Use basic computer systems and internal software tools for documentation and data entry.
• Assemble, route, connect, and secure components with hand tools.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement.
