Quantum Design in San Diego, CA is seeking an Electronic Mechanical Assembler to build and test electronic components and devices. You will interpret drawings and set up assemblies using hand tools and automated equipment.

This 100% onsite role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A minimum of one year in electronics assembly and soldering is required, with attention to quality, safety, and ESD guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in electronics assembly and using assembly equipment.
• Soldering and related electronic assembly techniques.
• Understanding of electronic components and their functions.
• Experience using computers for technical tasks, data entry, documentation, and software tools.

Responsabilités

• Assemble electronic components using hand tools and automated equipment.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate placement and alignment of components.
• Identify and report any defects or issues during the assembly process.
• Surface mount and thru-hole soldering of components following industry standards.
• Test assembled products for functionality and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Maintain and calibrate assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow strict safety protocols and adhere to ESD guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.
• Keep detailed records of production activities and maintain inventory of electronic components.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on new assembly techniques and technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
