Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Everett, WA is seeking a hands-on Assembler to support aerospace production. You will read drawings, perform precise assembly and testing, and maintain a clean, safe workstation in a team-focused environment.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and craftsmanship with a first shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and competitive hourly pay. Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of TESTING & ASSEMBLY experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of assembly and testing experience (required).
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection.
  • Use hand tools, electrical tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Maintain inventory and organization at your workstation.
  • Conduct quality checks, identify defects, and document findings.
  • Perform rework and repairs per engineering updates.
  • Follow all quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Keep a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

About the Role

As an Assembler, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the production and quality of aerospace components. Your work directly impacts the performance, safety, and reliability of advanced aviation systems. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail and craftsmanship are key to success.

What You’ll Do

  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing

  • Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
