Job Duties

• Assemble small electro-mechanical components and products according to established procedures.
• Use basic hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, and other simple assembly tools.
• Follow written work instructions, diagrams, procedures, and verbal directions.
• Strip, connect, bend, cut, or otherwise work with wires and small components as required.
• Assemble tubing, fittings, wires, and other components into finished assemblies.
• Properly identify and install the correct component in the correct location.
• Perform repetitive assembly operations while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Inspect completed work for defects, incorrect assembly, missing components, or other quality issues.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
• Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Electro-Mechanical Assembler.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience.
• Previous experience using basic hand tools.
• Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience working with wires, tubing, small components, or similar products.
• Experience in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Electro-Mechanical Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

Ask questions when instructions are unclear rather than making assumptions. Maintain close attention to detail during repetitive production activities. Follow established production procedures and quality standards. Meet established production time standards while maintaining product quality. Package completed products and components as required. Apply labels accurately to finished products and packaging. Perform light-duty paper, badge, patch, and packaging assembly when assigned. Cut materials into specified sizes and place components into bags or packaging. Operate simple production equipment after receiving proper training. Assist with sealing, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work cooperatively with supervisors, line leaders, and other production employees. Perform other related production and assembly duties as assigned.
