Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking an Electro-Mech OEM Assembler in Creedmoor, North Carolina. This role involves assembling and testing mechanical and electromechanical components, adhering to quality and safety regulations. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with aerospace industry experience being preferred. Additional skills in basic math and mechanical tools are required. Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
• Ability to understand and use basic mechanical and electronic measuring equipment.
• Ability to perform basic soldering, winding, safety wire, wire crimp, and other processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical hand tools and basic computer skills.
• Tig weld and resistance weld experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub/top assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance requirements.
• Follow documented work instructions and technical data.
• Understand and use basic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and scales.
• Perform cleaning, basic soldering, winding, safety wire, wire crimp, marking, etching, and varnishing processes.
• Comply with SDS guidelines and safety procedures.

Electro‑Mech OEM Assembler

You will report to the Production Cell Leader and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

Schedule (2nd Shift): Monday – Thursday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM (10‑hour shifts). Overtime as needed. (5% Shift Differential)

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

As a Electro‑Mech OEM Assembler, You Will

• Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing basic to intermediate‑level complexity mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub/top assemblies.
• Ensuring compliance with all requirements relating to quality, safety, workmanship, functionality, performance, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• You will follow and comply with documented work instructions, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, customer requirements, or other approved technical data in hard copy and electronic formats as needed to accomplish required tasks.
• Ability to understand and use basic mechanical and electronic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and scales.
• Able to perform cleaning, basic soldering, winding, safety wire, wire crimp, marking, etching, and varnishing processes.
• Comply with chemical Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, safety guidelines, and procedures.
