Job summary

PACCAR's Global Powertrain team is developing electrified components for Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and Leyland brands. This role collaborates with engineering and test to implement a validation plan that aligns with schedules and budgets, and communicates progress across global facilities.

The candidate will build and adapt validation plans, report progress, and participate in problem-solving and corrective actions to keep programs on track. Up to 30% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years powertrain, vehicle or related validation experience required.
• Strong understanding of powertrain systems and development processes.
• Experience with risk mitigation methods such as DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Knowledge of durability, reliability, performance, emissions testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead test plan development aligned with powertrain and vehicle programs.
• Coordinate validation activities with internal/external resources to meet timing and quality targets.
• Develop validation procedures and test protocols for global test departments.
• Analyze test results and communicate performance, risks and actions.
