Job summary

Eversource is seeking an Engineer, Strategy and Economics to support Transmission in the Northeast. The role focuses on electricity market simulation modeling, data analysis, and industry research to inform how transmission enables clean energy growth and decarbonization goals.

You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to gather data, forecast electric power markets, and produce reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in the field are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in power/energy markets.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of wholesale electricity markets and utility regulation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electricity market analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and document input assumptions and simulation results.
• Support carbon flow modeling and software deployment.
• Assist with reports, presentations, and procedures.
• Monitor federal and state clean energy policies and opportunities.
