Iowa State University - College of Design seeks an Electrician Trainee for Utilities Services. The trainee will join a 4-year Apprenticeship Program with on-the-job training and classroom education through ABC of Iowa, preparing to test for Journeyman Electrician.

Work is Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes on-site training in Grimes, IA. Successful candidates must meet license, driving, and fleet safety requirements and be able to work as part of a team.

• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 4-year Apprenticeship Program with on-the-job training and classroom education.
• Travel to Grimes, IA for on-site instruction.
• Develop knowledge and skills to install and repair electrical systems and equipment under supervision.
