Position Summary

Responsible for providing technical expertise to safely plan and perform main panel upgrades for residential solar projects, including electrical work related to solar installations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues.
• Perform work in accordance with national and local building codes, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with the team and homeowners for system repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, AHJ, and Utility requirements.
• Complete residential main panel upgrades and electrical tie-ins for PV systems.
• Document work with photos and work orders.
• Maintain knowledge of conduit bending (EMT) and produce quality work.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure safety practices.

Qualifications Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Knowledge of current NEC codes.
• Experience with replacing residential electrical services and panels.
• Ability to manage work to meet timelines.
• Proficient with electrical hand and power tools.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read single line drawings.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Physical Demands

• Ability to handle tools, climb ladders, and lift 50+ pounds.
• Stand for long periods, kneel, crouch, and perform physical tasks.
• Use fingers for fine manipulation and react quickly.

Travel Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and insurance to travel for business purposes.
