Your Impact
As a Solar Electrician at Verogy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our expanding solar energy systems. You will lead regular inspections, perform maintenance tasks, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards.
Your expertise will be essential to optimizing system performance, maximizing energy production, and minimizing downtime across our portfolio. In addition, you will supervise and mentor apprentices in the field daily, supporting Verogy’s commitment to developing the next generation of renewable energy professionals.
This is a field-based role with regular travel to project sites primarily in Connecticut and the Northeastern U.S., with occasional travel to further site locations. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and be prepared for occasional overnight travel as needed to support project needs.
Your Role:
What You’ll Bring:
· 5+ years of experience
as an Electrician with a focus on C&I Solar PV installations.
· E1 or E2 electrical certification.
· Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
· Familiarity with solar PV technologies, inverters, and energy storage systems.
· Ability to interpret electrical and construction drawings.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
· Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is $90,000-100,000. The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
