Job summary

Resource Search, Inc. seeks a skilled Electrician for a permanent direct-hire position in Auburn Hills, MI. You will perform wiring, soldering, testing and data recording to build machines and tooling according to specifications, using common hand tools and test instruments.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical/electronic systems, familiarity with schematics, fabrication and debugging of tooling, and a strong focus on safety and documentation. IPC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical and electronic systems, testing and troubleshooting.
• IPC J-STD-001 soldering and IPC-A-610 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, and execute technical process specifications, procedures, and standards.
• Fabricate electronic hardware of a developmental, prototype, or critical nature.
• Build, field wiring and debug of tooling and equipment.
• Assemble and test printed circuit boards, hardware assemblies, devices and systems in accordance with technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot hardware, assemblies, devices, systems; check and modify.
• Record and document test data; prepare sketches, schematics and graphical test results.
• Maintain safe operations and a clean work area; adhere to safety procedures.
• May provide input for design reviews, proposals, specifications, work standards, and business processes.
