Job summary

GableTek is seeking an experienced Machine Tool Electrician for a long-term integration project in Auburn Hills, MI. The role supports electrical build, wiring, installation, and integration of automated manufacturing equipment on day shifts.

Ideal candidates will have prior machine tool electrician or industrial electrician experience, familiarity with automation systems, and the ability to read schematics. Own basic hand tools and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with control panels and machine wiring.

Responsibilities

• Wire and electrically integrate automated machinery and equipment.
• Build and wire electrical control panels.
• Wire motors, sensors, switches, solenoids, safety devices, and other field components.
• Install and terminate cable trays, conduit, junction boxes, and electrical components.
• Read and work from electrical schematics and drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues during machine integration.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and I/O checks.
• Support machine power-up, debug, and commissioning.
• Work closely with controls engineers, machine builders, and integration teams.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

GableTek is seeking experienced Machine Tool Electricians for a long-term integration project in Auburn Hills, MI. This position will support the electrical build, wiring, installation, and integration of automated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wire and electrically integrate automated machinery and equipment
• Build and wire electrical control panels
• Wire motors, sensors, switches, solenoids, safety devices, and other field components
• Install and terminate cable trays, conduit, junction boxes, and electrical components
• Read and work from electrical schematics and drawings
• Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues during machine integration
• Perform point-to-point wiring and I/O checks
• Support machine power-up, debug, and commissioning

Requirements

• Previous Machine Tool Electrician or Industrial Electrician experience
• Experience working with automation equipment, assembly systems, or machine tools
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics
• Experience with control panels and machine wiring
• Knowledge of 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC electrical systems
• Ability to use electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment
• Automotive automation/integration experience is a plus
• Must have your own basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
