Job summary

Treetown Tech is seeking an on-site, full-time Electrical Engineering Technician to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team in Michigan. You will perform hands-on hardware assembly, wiring, and testing, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to move designs from schematic to working prototypes and eventual production.

Qualifications

• Electrical shop experience in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Punctual and task-focused with reliable daily performance.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and asking for help when needed.
• Open to frequent design changes from R&D/prototypes.
• Willing to receive direction and adapt to changing priorities.
• Genuine team player who cares for coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB assembly including surface-mount and through-hole soldering.
• Build wiring harnesses and wire for AC and DC circuits.
• Read schematics and eCAD to build to print.
• Support electrical test activities and collect data accurately.
• Follow internal quality control documentation and safety standards.
• Assist PLC cabinet wiring and related tasks (bonus capability).
